The she-leopard padded quietly through the geyshers, watching them and smiling dreamily to herself as they urupted. I should be like that, she thought, Staying, and then leaving... She looked up at the sky. Like the birds. Tundra watched them fly free across the endless skies.
"But life is difficult," she said aloud to herself, "Rikuanu knows that..." The she-cat continued her journey, icy blue eyes on the look-out for movement, or any sign at all that there was...someone like her out there.
Tundra had been alone from the early moments of her life. When she had been about 5 weeks old, her mother and father had been killed by a snow-storm, leaving Tundra alone and helpless. But the cub had grown into a young adult. She had survived, alone, yes, but Tundra had wits and strength; she was a powerful huntress, and a good tracker. A pretty good fighter, if she said so herself.
The silvery she-cat grimaced as some hot-water landed on her thick fur. Shaking her self, she padded onwards, in her own little world, on her own little journey.
Tundra didn't exactly want to join a Clan; no, that wasn't the life for her. She just liked being alone; sometimes she liked being with other cats. She was a very confusing one. Sometimes she knew that, then she didn't know this. Sometimes she wanted to be alone, then she wanted to be with someone. Then, she'd be happy, and then she'd be sad; an emotional-bomb.
The she-leopard was shaken out of her thoughts as geyser-water hit her full strength. Letting out a surprised yowl, the burned and drenched cat struggled away from the geysher to lie down in a safe place, sheltered by a small boulder. Tundra gasped when she saw the burned flesh on her stomach.
"Nothing I can do, though, can I?" she said to herself, "It'll grow back, at least..." The she-cat sighed and lay her head down on her paws. She had all of her fur, yet, in the middle of her stomach, there was a small patch of burned-off fur, and raw, red, burned flesh. "Adventurers pay," Tundra said aloud, before attempting to lick the burned flesh.

"That was a damn stupid thing to do," the voice cut through the air like a knife, "Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with geysers?" agian, the chilling voice broke the silence. A male snow leopard stepped out from a shadow. His coat was slightly reddish in color, and his eyes were brilliant; they were white st the top, then quickly faded to red. Other than that, he appeared to be quite unpectacular.
He glanced down at the fae's singed belly, smirking, 'Dosn't that foolish cat know that water is, oh I don't know...scalding hot?' he wondered, amazed.

Tundra leaped to her feet, icy eyes narrowed. Great. Stuck with a could-be enemy and wounded.
The she-cat was about to begin with "I never knew my mother," but blinked and shut her mouth just in time. She wasn't about to give that information to a complete stranger! Instead, she said, "Who are?! What do you want?! Going to murder me on the spot, eh?!" The hyper-active cat sunk her claws into the ground, her icy eyes warning.
"Don't take a step any closer!" Tundra shot at the strange cat. Her tail started to fluff up to make her look bigger than she really was.

The male sneered at the fae's words, "What, didn't your mother ever teach you how to form a sentance?" smirking he took a casual step to the side, circling around the female, "But in answer to your jumbled mess, my name is Ketsurui;I don't particularly want anything; no. You 'ought o watch your tounge, you could make trouble where trouble needn't be." he stepped towards Tundra. This was kind of fun!

Tundra spat. "I don't listen to anyone." she snarled, her ears flattening, "And you....JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!!!!" The leopard was getting angry, and when she was angry, you did NOT want to be around her.
The she-cat's neck fur rose as she kept her eyes on Ketsuri. Then, suddenly, she deflated and smiled cheerily. "The name's Tundra." But the cat was still tense.
((Word to the wise: stay away from Tundra when she's angry. And that's how quickly her moods can change o.0))

Ketsurui laughed bitterly, "Mood swings eh?" he said, amsused, "You should consider watching the sunset now and then, it's wondeful for relieving all that built up stress." his voice dripped sarcasm. Tundra seemed to be avoiding the 'mother' subject, so the leopard decided he would focus on that, "Didn't your mother ever teach you how to control your anger? Didn't your mother ever tell you not to vent your emotions in such a violent manner? Didn't your mother ever do anything?

"Didn't your mother ever tell you to watch your back?" Replied a silky voice from behind the male leopard. Despite her size, she could move silently through the geyser field. Her coat which wasn't well suited to hiding her in snow came into its element in the foggy geyser field. Kita stepped into view, the blackened end of her tail bobbing behind her in the mist. She smiled languidly, baring eye-teeth almost three inches long. "Scram, ounce. Or I'll huff and I'll puff..." She tilted her head as if thinking, "Well, that's the big bad wolf, but you get the idea."

Ketsurui whipped around to face the new stranger, "Oh look, a tiger." he mused, "Oh...I'm so scared! A mean old tiger's gonna get me! Oh Rikuanu, come to my aid!" he snorted, "Rikuanu...what a joke! A jest! What has she ever done for me? In fact..." he glanced back at Tundra, "I don't even think she exists." his tail twitched and he circled around Kita, examining her form all angles...she didn't look so tough.

Tundra was about to reply when....oh, Rikuanu, a TIGER!! The she-cat bared her teeth. "You stay away from me, too," she growled, her neck-fur rising once more, "Or I'll...." Great. Out of threats.
In a flash of silver, the lean leopard leaped onto the boulder and her icy eyes narrowed. Silvery pelt glistened with droplets of geysher water. "I'm not in the mood to be bothered right now," she said, "So....I suggest you leave before I get angry..." The she-cat growled again, as her tail started puffing up.

Kita huffed, whiskers curling forward. "Oh lighten up, leopards don't taste nice." She told the female leopard. She looked down on the male circling her. "What you gunna do? Bite my ankles." She snorted a laugh, her tail flicking in annoyance. She was twice the size of the leopard, and while not as nimble, she was three times as heavy and she could get up quite a bit of speed on the straight. Her grey-green eyes glinted and she smiled dangerously at the male leopard. She knew the area, and she had the advantage of camouflage in this place. "Back off ounce, or I'll reconsider the menu for today." Her pink tongue flicked out to lick her equally pink nose. "Leopards don't taste good, but they'll do in a pinch."

Tundra growled. "How do I know I can trust you?" she snarled, her eyes narrowing. She was not going to change her mood easily at the moment; that was obvious.
"I don't even know any of you, so why don't you just LEAVE ME ALONE so I can not kill any of you?!" the hyperactive cat's tail fluffed up even more.
((Sorry for the icky post...))

Ketsurui laughed, turning his back on the Tiger with a flick of his tail. Instead he looked up at Tundra, "You fool, don't go spewing threats unless you can back them up. Your words are as empty as that kitty's head." he gestured towards Kita, snickering. "You can't kill me, or the Tiger, you know that. Yet you insist you can. Fine then, go ahead; attack me. I dare you to even try."

Tundra snorted. The silvery leopard made no movement for about two moments. Without warning, she suddenly leaped into the air...over Ketsurui...and landed about two feet away from the male leopard. Whirling around, she growled, baring her teeth. Icy eyes flashed, and her neck-fur rose; fur puffed up, she looked about twice her size.
"Try me!" she snarled, her claws unsheathed as she circled the male leopard.
